TI's 1st Columbia Operation (s)
TI Alpha Team has progressed into the Columbian capital of Bogota and has arrested all known politicians and personnel that have taken bribes from drug cartels. 2 members of alpha team were killed and 3 were injured and expected to make full recovery. Over 200 members of a disorganized militia and 50 members of the Columbian army were killed and 50 enemy combatants are being detained. Over 1,000 pounds of various explosives were captured along with 10 laptops connected to various bank accounts, incriminating evidence, and various interesting tidbits of interesting intelligence. Various weapons have also been seized, however these will likely be held and sold to a guerrilla movement somewhere.
Bravo Team is currently encountering light resistance from drug cartel forces. Over 300 militia have been captured/killed. 3 members of TI have been killed.
Charlie Team has found the hornet's nest. It seems that a drug lord has built a medieval castle and has drugs stationed inside it and a local guerrilla movement has taken over the location. Titan International units had a light scrape with these guerrillas and no Titan International units were injured. Later on in that day, the drug lord appeared with a large force of cartel forces, completely outnumbering Titan International units at least 5-1. However Titan international units had 3 important advantages that made all the difference. 1. The enemy lacked heavy assault and fortification busting gear. 2. Titan International units had the high ground and superior gear. 3. The enemy lacked armored vehicles and air support, while Titan International enjoyed an abundance of both. Overall... the enemy was completely routed with over 500 killed and 126 captured.
Special Forces team 1 is at -CLASSIFIED- and has accomplished it's objective. Over 20 enemy combatants were killed.
Special Forces team 2 is at an airfield and has denied the enemy access to air forces. Over 30 people were killed, mostly pilots.
Special Forces team 3 has denied the enemy access to many armored units. Over 50 people were killed.

Re: UN Operations in Columbia
VBCID is launching investigations into all Colombian officials at all levels of government as well as police and military officers. So far an additional 60 have been arrested. Special teams we have stationed in Bogotá have "convinced" the military leaders to support our mission. The Colombian army will stay out of everyone's way.
1,900+ Hostiles confirmed killed
9 Civilians killed (Only 2 were by VB)
132 vehicles destroyed
7 hostile camps destroyed
143 Enemy soldiers captured
We're still counting drugs seized
Last night an ISA sniper team was inserted by helicopter and killed five bodyguards, one pilot, and two enemy HVTs. In a separate mission another HVT was killed, one was arrested, seven bodyguards were killed, and two UH-1Hs were seized.

Re: UN Operations in Columbia
Our forces are still in the area, primarily on the borders though. Right now our air operations are humanitarian aid and close air support to support the two ISA teams still in the area. Ships are also standing by with 7,000 mercenaries and 300 of our special forces units. VBCID is still launching investigations. With the operations we have in place we are expecting FARC to be unable to launch operations within 96 hours.
